I only wish I The Far Kingdoms: Sacred Grove Solitaire not played it already, so I could play it all over again. One thing I loved about the Cadenza series was that it was realistic and believable, so I was really disappointed that not only did the story seem far fetched, but when they introduced a gadget, Musuc knew it was game over. The demo is short but as usual try it before you buy it. Then we will be brought into the ballroom by the music machine and meet Elaine again — and the masked stranger. The game is mediocre at best, I personally found everything I was doing in the demo was senseless, boring and at times downright stupid! Fans of the series may be undecided during demo play but are likely to enjoy this one if played from start to finish. Overall, its pretty much a standard game with nothing unique but will fill in a couple of hours each night during the week. It is the instrument, here the music machine, that causes the change, same role as in the last game, where the guitar did the magic. I feel more involved in story with great voice overs. But as I read some of the other reviews, I am enclined to agree with them. Fans of the series may be undecided during demo play but are likely to enjoy this one if played from start to finish. However, I did enjoy the HOPs and mini-games. Sophisticated and detailed in plot and design. There didn't seem to be a lot of running around, but it still came in handy. I recommend the game because of the hidden objects and puzzles, but little else. In all honesty, I think the SE is the better choice. I have to admit I am extremely disappointed in what Mad Head has done to this series with this addition. Great game and a long one too! The Hidden Object Scenes are basically all the same, but they are multi-layered, some have a small Mini Game, and the CE version has a Morphing Object to find in each one.
All up the game, bonus and extras took me about 6 hours, so good value Sparkle 2 money. I loved the story line, the mini games, HOS, the stunning scenery. It killed a few hours on a rainy Florida afternoon, but I can't express my disappointment in what they did to this wonderful series. However, I did enjoy the HOPs and mini-games. The cryptex gadget that you use in the piano is a clever and useful tool that adds an extra surprise to the adventure too. So it is your task to find out what this eternal dance may be and find and free Elaine and Theo. A strange abandoned place with a hut, a boat, the shore. Behind the instrument you find a secret room, where a mysterious book gives the clue to go on with your search in Harmony Cliff. Hidden objects were good and enjoyable to play. The unwilling Theo and Elaine vanish together with him, when he forces you out of the restaurant, which overgrows with plants as soon as you are out of the room. It is on the short side, with just 4 chapters, but I think it seemed shorter because it was an easy game to play. Help her uncover what happened to it! I don't expect games to be so challenging they're frustrating, and I don't mind easy puzzles, as long as they are fun, but for me personally, these were not that fun. Uncover your grandfather's true identity and restore his legacy! It is never tedious, always challenging, and enjoyable to play. I missed a couple of Morph's, and was happy that I was able to replay those HO's to collect the morphs I missed. While Cadenza continues to maintain an average 4 star rating, some editions are better than others. I enjoyed playing them all. In this story, you play the part of best friend to Theo and lover of Elaine, Theo's sister. You soon learn that Theo is the undersign of a devious contract created by this masked villain known as the Phantom of the eternal dance. NA Navigate a creepy maze and destroy an evil curse! It is on the short side, with just 4 chapters, but I think it seemed shorter because it was an easy game to play. NA Help Kraixx save his world! Just gorgeous. The adventure quickly becomes fast paced as you race against the clock to find the written enchanted melody of the eternal dance and play it with a violin in an attempt to save Elaine.
