I know that I've played games in the past that I felt weren't worth the time and effort, and after playing them again at another time, wondered why I didn't like it the first time through. But that is good, because much of Raven's suspense derives from the fact that we knew nothing about these two characters. Sort of looks like the developers were just too bored to come up with good game play. The story, for a change, kept my attention and the pace is active with plenty of activities. I thought it was nice not seeing that baby-faced man again. But in Raven, the "weird" achievements associated with the various puzzles and scenes made it difficult to enjoy those puzzles and scenes or, for that matter, the game itself. You get to collect golden feathers usually 2 in every scene and bird-like morphings that light up. Besides, this is not American Literature class. So many people reviewers with whom I usually agree, even dissed this game. Perhaps The Devs could try moving on to a different author? There is a very creative and well-designed multiple step scene in which the player locates three each of different items followed by a matching scene in which two symbols are combined to create a larger symbol. I'm disheartened to see this once great series fall so far. Also the choice of levels offered allows everyone to get in on the game, regardless of skill level. I'd second Pilot1's assessment and suggest you move on!I finally resorted to just using the hint to move around. Another case for you as assistant to the unforgettable Dupin. You will not even have to search for them — most are highlighted within the scene. HO games great and story line good. Sad, this series started out so well. The Poe tales always have provided excellent adventure, mystery, crime solving, games, interesting visuals, the game pace is never slow or boring.. And if you were as disappointed as I was, possibly even disillusioned with the series itself, I think Lenore will "bring you back"! The characters moved so strangely and spoke slowly. I would have missed a good game if I had! We will have to learn more about Allsn, in order to Solitaire Beach Season the children. Poed then, Raven failed to explain so much. Won't be wasting my money on any more of them. I hate it at the first but after a while I found it's not Alllan bad I liked this little game because it was short and sweet. Follow a tile with a fist on it as it moves rapidly back-and-forth with other tiles. You should also ignore anything you know about Edgar Allan Poe's short four stanza poem, "Lenore. I loved these games so much I bought them even without playing the demo. Rating: 2 G. So you see why I am comparing the two games — because of the clear relationship between the two. When I began the demo, I noticed that our haggard detective is back with perhaps just a bit of a cleanup since his last foray into the Dark Tales game world. Please note that we can't help you out if you write about it in your post. It is primarily an adventure game rather than a HOG, which is just fine by me as I prefer solving puzzles to searching through a clutter of objects that don't really relate to the game sometimes, not even the time period of the game. It is not very different from the other Dark tales games and hope the futur games of this serie will be like it I loved these games so much I bought them even without playing the demo. I was only able to tolerate about 15 minutes of the demo before I deleted it! We will search for the children and a solution to the mystery. Take shards and replace them into a broken mirror to restore the mirror. Maybe it's time to put an end to it. This allows you to put away some of the hostility you may feel for this fresh attack on a great American Writer and see this for the bland mediocre game it is.
I liked the voice overs in this game because they didn't sound too stilted in the actors' speech. Somehow I missed one I don't know how!
