The legendary Haunted Hotel series has been evolving lately as well. Variation of a maze puzzle. NA Embark on an archaeological adventure! I am such a fan of the handsome James and it was fun to see him again. I picked custom so I could set the skip and hints at a faster rate. Most important for me is the setting for hint and skip times. Thought it was cool and unique they ask from a basic list what your fears are. It showed areas where there were things to do and would transport me wherever I wanted to go. Graphics are great! Some of the HOS require a bit of interaction but not all of them and that is okay with me since I become very tired of HOPS require so much interaction that they become tedious. They are abandoning the "Emblem" for every single door, window, box, cabinet, and drawer scenario, they have returned to their original graphics style that was superior to all other developers back in the day. Your tools include a journal and an interactive transporter type map that are present at the beginning of the game. Haunted Hotel: Phoenix takes some big shifts but, mostly you're always moving forward without too much back and forth. Won't spoil how that comes into play! NA The final adventure concludes here!
I don't really know how long it took to play, but it seemed like it was over before I expected it to be. The graphics are very good and appear nice and crisp on my laptop. Although they are decent puzzles, they do tend to be fairly easy to solve, and there are several "clicking one may affect others" which are my personal nemesis. The game is fun, a good storyline, morphing objects and collectibles that are mythical birds which you can read about once you collect them. Mini-HOP scene. Variation of moving tiles puzzle. If you select the custom mode you can click various settings on or off depending on how you like to play. Visuals were lovely and creepy, especially the loading screens! The level of detail in the visuals is mind-boggling--from evil-looking chairs to apparitions flitting past the windows or strolling through the background. The graphics are very good and appear nice and crisp on my laptop. Haunted Hotel: Phoenix does this with its compelling, and twisted, plot coupled with fantastic graphics and ambient sound that make up Phoenix's fitting atmosphere that the creators do a wonderful job of maintaining from start to finish. Pair that with the top-notch graphics and atmospheric music, and you have a perfect Haunted Hotel game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Pandora from Absolutely perfect game! Not much we haven't seen before, but they were pretty decent. Overall, I loved this game. We get to revisit a pinch of some prior HH in his chapter. The story was interesting. If you select the custom mode you can click various settings on or Last Resort Island depending on how you like to play. Gameplay was smooth, no huge lags. NA Two amazing adventures with Arizona Rose! Bonus Chapter: Uncle Samuel insists on returning to Sweet 18 to rescue Caroline who he claims has been begging for his help in recurring nightly Hauntec, so it's back Hauntde the Haunted Hotel for some more ghostbusting work.
Does any body like the tracing without touching the side? I Love the Extras of a CE. The graphics are creepy, the sounds are haunting, and they remind me of the perfection this developer insisted on back in the day. May not be for everyone but please try it. Amanda Sate worked with Steven at the University, and her affection for Steven was her inspiration for renovating the main University building into a Hotel, to be closer to Steven. I recommend this one for the atmosphere, if you like creepiness without gore! The game has wonderful voiceovers that add a lot to the game. But I still love ya Elephant! The game offers four modes of gameplay: Casual, Advanced, Hardcore and Custom. Another option this developer includes in its games is the option to either continue or reset the game when starting to play after exiting a previous gameplay session. The graphics are very good and appear nice and crisp on my laptop. What begins as a simple investigation quickly takes an ice-cold turn.
Some are easy and in the demo I found two which were little more difficult. But Haunted Hotel is one of the few that, IMHO, has been consistent in putting out fresh ideas for plots and gameplay. There were certain connections I couldn't make without the strategy guide but it just made me grateful to have it : The voice acting and characters were also well done. NA Worlds upon worlds. They don't seem to notice the dreadful condition of this establishment, nor do they put two and two together to draw Mahjong Journey of Enlightenment haunted hotel conclusion until it's too late. Particularly the wooden Rock Tour reminded me of the Ring I Loved the motive of the people in the story and how they looked out for each other. You arrive at the Stone Spires hotel and that is where your adventure begins. The puzzles are a great mix of ones we've seen and some new ingenious and fun ones. We all have different tastes in games and although this is a game I really love, you might not agree. Thanks Big Fish!

I remember when the first Haunted Hotel games were released and this game definitely reminds me of what originally made this one of my favorite series. Dianne, South Bend, IN. It's part of the Haunted Hotel series, but it is quite different from the others. This game did not have replayable videos OR a diary, only a useless task list. Had a good time with this one. There is so much to like in this game, starting with an excellent storyline. I'm also not clear when the story takes place, as it seems a little old-fashioned in places but the characters don't look like they're from the past. Graphics were excellent as were the effects and voice overs. In a crossover nod to another series from this developer, you are a detective working with the renowned Mystery Trackers organization and have been called in to investigate the fires in Oregon. Haunted Hotel: Phoenix, has given the series a new set of fiery wings, and this edition is definitely proof that it's heading in the right direction! Many of the games involve swapping wires or resetting wires by moving the jacks and pulling a lever to see which ones are correct.
