Be sure to look at the lower left of the screne for what object association you are to find before you start clicking on objects as there is a limited number of "misses" you are allowed before you have to repeat the chapter or scene. All in all I liked it and thought it was even better then the first one. Game is a combination of two genres - word and hidden object. Story line was great! And it seems you have to have the right category clicked for an item to count. This threw me at first but once you get the hang of it it really adds to the gaming experience. Different from the first game is how to advance the storyline. The story is involved, but it was very interesting and kept my attention. This is more of an adventure type game with theme-associated objects to be found in various scenes throughout the seven chapters and finale. Just as long as I don't have to find another hand drill or wrench I should be okay Associations must again be made between the key word you're given and objects within a room but a new twist has been added - connections. You actually have to find objects related to one another in some way and they do have some relevance to the story line. I found the story well written and interesting with multiple characters flowing in and out of the chapters. You have several categories of things to find but it doesn't tell you what to find and you get a penalty for clicking wrong which makes no sense and the category titles given aren't enough to help you find what you're looking for. Again I don't consider this a hidden object game but this is a great adventure with "out of the box thinking".It had a good story and I liked that the HO scenes were categories, like things that come in 8's, rather than telling you what exactly you were looking for. I liked the idea that HOs are connected and not just a list of objects in a room. It plays much better than 3 Cards to Midnight, which I had to redownload several times, but still it does not work right, the story line is scratchy-sounding and stops before being finished. Suggest playing 3 Cards to Midnight first for continuity of the storyline. It is challenging and quite addictive to the point that you don't ever want to stop playing it. I recommend this game for those wanting something different than the usual HO game. If you liked the Forgotten Riddles games you like this or if you haven't played them DO. Story line was great!
